For the close calls

Most frames don't need measuring. When they do, tap scan, walk slowly around the balls with your camera pointed at them, and tap stop. You get a map of the court drawn to scale, every ball ranked from nearest to farthest, and the score.

Walk around, don't hover. No holding your phone flat over the balls, and no tapping each one. It measures balls that are spread across the court, not just a tight cluster.
Honest when it's close. Every distance comes with a ±. When two balls are closer than the scan can separate, it says "too close to call" and tells you which ones to measure by hand.
Private and light. No ads, no tracking, no account. Everything is measured on your phone, and it works without a connection.

Bocce, and pétanque in beta

Closest Ball was built with a bocce league and is tuned for bocce courts. Pétanque is included as a beta while detection on gravel is refined.

Getting it

Closest Ball is for iPhone with iOS 17 or later, and works best on iPhone Pro models. It's free to try for 10 scans, then one purchase unlocks it for good. It's coming soon to the App Store.
